Rustica Flagship is Open For Business

Pencil it in, 05/12/19, Rustica’s astounding new flagship store on Chapel Street is a go. This impeccable shop design will capture customers the moment they step foot inside, as they open the door to the smell of Rustica’s fresh signature bread and patisserie products. Supported by all the latest innovations we offer in baking and patisserie equipment, we are so excited to see Brenton Lang’s new store finally open and for the masses to roll in.

In case you didn’t know, Rustica was established in 2012 by renowned baker, Brenton Lang. Currently with 5 stores, Rustica is showing no signs of slowing down and nor should they, an amazing product range, incredibly passionate staff and a very unique eating environment are all factors that set Rustica apart from the rest and why loyal customers continue to come back again and again.

501 Chapel Street will be no exception.

Known as “the old Diesel store”, this once 500 square meter retail warehouse has been overhauled, redesigned and impeccably transformed into an inspiring 100 seat venue. Incorporating large windows, organic earthy tones, marble tabletops, greenery throughout and a vibe that can only be described as welcoming, light and airy, you are going to easily loose yourself in this venue and find you not only ordered breakfast but stayed for lunch too. This can be traced back to Fiona Dargo, an architect with an impressive resume including Port of Call, Plain Sailing, Albert Street Food and Wine and of course, was responsible for Rustica’s previous store designs.

It’s going to be one of those venues that becomes a staple for the area, a no brainer as such and a meeting point for many; mark our words.

You will be able to wonder in and order all your favourite signature pastries, donuts, almond croissants, their ridiculous banana bread and don’t forget a loaf of their delicious sourdough on the way out. Breakfast and lunch will be covered but hold on, so will dinner? 501 Chapel St will be introducing a night time range including a delectable sourdough pizza menu that will be perfect before you head out on the town! Pair this with some local craft beers or wines chosen by Rustica and you will be laughing.

So if you are heading for a Sunday morning hangover recovery breakfast, meeting some important clients for a coffee “at 12”, devouring a pizza before dancing the night away or just grabbing a sourdough loaf for your so called “signature pasta” at home, Rustica has you covered and will for a long time to come.

See you there.
