The highly anticipated 2024 Baking Industry Trade Show returned for its seventh year, welcoming everyone in the baking industry from June 18th to June 20th at the Moonee Valley Racecourse in Melbourne. As proud sponsors of this free three-day event, the Vanrooy Machinery team showcased the versatility and efficiency of our equipment in our dedicated Pie Craft area.
During the event, our team delighted attendees by creating an array of pies right before their eyes. We demonstrated the capabilities of our top-tier equipment, including the Escher Mixer, MKN FlexiChef, Tekno Stamap Sheeter, and Salva Kwik-Co Oven, highlighting their essential roles in modern baking processes.
Our involvement extended beyond the Pie Craft area, with our equipment featured throughout the tradeshow, including the Excellence in Baking Area. We were honoured to assist Apprentice Pastry Chefs and Apprentice Bakers in their competitions and support the official bake-off competition between Team Australia and Team New Zealand. Our Salva Provers and Salva NXE Deck Ovens were crucial to the competitions that took place, with all contestants using our machinery with complete ease.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the winners of the Australian Team. Tracy from Gumnut Patisserie, Jeremy from Boulangerie Vietnam, and Brad from Terang Country Bakery all showcased exceptional skill and creativity, making us proud to have them as Vanrooy Machinery customers. Their achievements highlight the incredible talent within the Australian baking community.
