Fine Foods 2021 Postponed To March 2022

“This is not a decision we have made lightly…”

As a result of the current and unfortunate situation in Sydney and the uncertainty that prevails due to COVID-19, this years’ Fine Foods event, which was set to take place at the Convention and Exhibition Centre from the 6th – 9th of September, has been postponed. Fine Foods announced the other week that the event will instead be rescheduled to run from the 8th – 11th of March, 2022.

“The health and safety of our community—visitors, exhibitors, sponsors, partners and staff—is our biggest concern,” said Fine Food Australia Event and Product Manager Andrew Lawson.”

“As a food industry, we have been through these challenges before, and whilst this is not a decision we have made lightly, we have considered the current situation facing the market, and the challenges you might currently be facing in your businesses. We have therefore made this decision as early as possible.”

“As the longest running and largest food event in the country, we are deeply aware of the importance of Fine Food to the industry. We believe this postponement to be the most appropriate action, to wait for a period where there is more stability, and a chance to set up all those involved in the event for success.”

Fine Food Australia is the definitive trade event for the food, beverage and hospitality industries in Australia. Staged annually since 1984, the event features over one thousand exhibitors from Australia and around the world, showcasing thousands of the latest food, beverage and equipment ideas. More than this, Fine Foods has consistently welcomed over 25,000 industry visitors across foodservice, hospitality and retail over the years, positioning itself as unrivalled when it comes to presenting opportunities to the industry to find innovative new products, fine-tune their skills and focus on business improvement through various seminar programs.

Vanrooy was very much looking forward to attending the event, where we had a range of amazing demonstrations and special guests planned. Nevertheless, we are thrilled to announce that we will be attending the re-scheduled Fine Foods in March 2022. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled over the coming months for all of the exciting things we will be offering!

We extend our deepest sympathies to the industry during this difficult time and look forward to catching up at Fine Foods in 2022.
